Play dates, NEW corn treatment (Jack's Gel) AND Break and Entering

I feel like I have a lot of making up to do.  Since the laptop has been sick we are using the OLD dinosaur of a PC for updates. As you can see there haven't been many at all.   Today I will try to make up for some lost time.

First off.  I am still enjoying my visits from Nana while Devin is off at work.  Nana brings me outside and gives me tasty treats.  She also blows kisses to me and asks me if  I've got them.  Nana's are cute.  I'm sure lucky to have one.

I think it was Thursday that Devin and I went over to Melissa's for a visit.  The usual happened.  The twins ran circles around me, jumped on me, one even thought I'd make a good overpass, and walked/crawled under me.  Where they get their energy from, I have no idea.  Me, I'm more of the sprinting type.  Go far, fast, snooze.  They just keep going and going and going and.....well you get the point.

On Saturday Nana checked the mail at the post office for us. Camp Greyhound (Karen) was SUPER nice and was able to get an order of Jack's Gel for my corns.  When Devin came home from work I was allowed to sniff the package.  Devin thought I was curiously sniffing and mouthing the package because it might have smelled like Camp Greyhound.  Devin opened it up and found 3 pizzles inside!!!! Karen knows what I like!!!

Devin said, so much for my corn treatment that night. hahaha  I chewed and chomped, and chewed some more.  When I got close to the end Devin was a bit worried that I might choke on the small piece and asked me to "Trade up".  Much to Devin's shock I actually traded up the pizzle for a piece of dried liver.   I'm constantly surprising the humans.

TADA! - okay Devin opened it up.
ever so flattering photo - Devin's real good at taking these kind of photos
yup, another great photo op.

Felt comfortable after a while, and slowly started to face in Devin's direction while I chomped

Getting a little short. Here is where Devin starts thinking maybe I should trade up for something else
bedtime - wanting more chewy treats

testing out my airplane ear pose :)

Sunday.  April 28, 2103 - Jack's Gel corn treatment.

Devin took the container out from the plastic bag along with the instructions.  I took one sniff of the stuff and looked at Devin in absolute disgust.   Here we go again, I thought to myself.

Once one corn was treated, it was on to the next one. I pulled my feet away a few times. My tongue quietly darted out in slow motion like a snake. Just letting Devin know that I wasn't entirely on board with things, but I was going along with it anyway.
I wasn't overly thrilled with the smell, but Devin told me that maybe this would be the cure once and for all.  We can hope, right?

Devin put socks on my feet after the treatment hardened.  Well, Devin thought it had dried enough to put the sock on. Turns out it wasn't dried enough.  When it came time to remove the sock, Devin tried to take my toe with it.  Is this how the treatment works? Socks remove the corns????? hehe
Lesson learned.  wait longer for Gel to dry/harden

 Oh, on a fun note:

When Devin gets ready for work, I go wild in the living room. I fling Frog around, attack the rubber chickens, and my new personal favorite.  SLIPPERS!   I don't eat them or anything. I just like to toss them around.
Slippers!  Busted

The other day when we came in from outside, Devin didn't close our door completely after removing my boots. I'd like to also make note that I wasn't ready to come in. I still wanted to roam around.  Anyway, I saw the opportunity to go visiting and took it.  I made it out into the hallway with Devin hot on my heels.  Sophie was out there, we sniffed for a moment, then I ran down the hall to where Lucy used to live (Sophie's home now). Her door was open as her Dad went to make a quick visit to the laundry room.

I went on in and explored my old visiting grounds.   Devin called into the apartment saying "Helloo It's Devin, Milo is in your apartment, Hellllloo.  We think Sophie's mum was in the washroom. Ooops. Devin stood in the door way while I went from room to room sniffing about. Sophie's mum was pleased to see me.  Devin captured me as I made it to Sophie's dinner bowl.  We said our goodbyes and went back home.

Now whenever I'm off leash in the hallway, I'm back to running to the end of the hall to see if they left their door open for me to go visiting.
Ran to Sophie's door, but it was closed :(
Devin laughed the other morning while we walked under the street lamp at 4am (pre work "out").  Apparently my shadow looks like an armadillo?? That Devin's imagination never quits!
Armadillo and me...shadow
what do you think?
