♫ What does a greyhound stomach say? ♫

 Gurrrrgle gurrrrgle gurrrrgle gurrrrgle

The past few days now I’ve had a very talkative stomach.  Before and after meals Devin can hear my stomach conversations from the other end of the home.

No amount of grass eating or pumpkin/yogurt mix has helped me.  Yesterday I was at my worst.  I had a huge case of the gurgles going on.  I let out a few cries from my bed and settled right now.  Too much tummy chatter!  Devin and I went on a few walks; I made the most of them and had several good solid poops (not so much towards the end).   Nana always says when you don’t feel well you should go for a poop. *hehe*
Apparently going for a poop is the solution for a lot of ailments.

With such a talkative stomach Devin sought out the liquid pepto.  All I can say is, Really Devin? Did you honestly think I was going to drink that??  Devin measured out some pepto and placed it in my bowl for me.  I got up and out of my bed thinking I was getting a wonderful snack.  I took one sniff of the OVERPOWERING PEPPERMINT and looked at Devin and walked away – back to my bed.   Pfft Humans, sometimes..honestly…

Devin went out yesterday after my tummy shh’d itself.   Before leaving I was given a KONG; I sniffed it took a few licks then lay beside it – completely uninterested.
As Devin got ready to leave, I got up and went to my bed.  Nana came and checked on me a few hours later. I didn’t feel much better, Nana offered me a KONG and I refused it. I didn’t even touch the one that Devin left for me.   That was the defining moment for Devin and Nana to know that I was definitely not feeling my best yesterday.

When Devin arrived home, we went for a decent walk. I had a lot of pep in my step. At the halfway mark to returning home I skipped over to the grass and all broke loose; heavy emphasis on “loose”.  Devin said that he has never seen anything like this come out from me before.  Wait that’s a lie, but Devin only witnessed the aftermath when I got terribly sick from the Laughing Cow Cheese. *ack*

When we arrived home, Devin prepared my dinner of Kibble for me. I gobbled that up.
Devin went looking for the homeopathic kit that was purchased from CAMP GREYHOUND – Karen.  It’s been a real life saver.  I was given a dosage of  Aresenicum Album and we called it a night.

This morning my stomach feels almost 100% better.  No gurgling and I had a wonderful solid poop.

While Devin gets ready for work tomorrow, I’m spending my day going from couch to bed, to my new bed, to my old bed, to Devin’s bed and back to the new bed.    You get the idea.

Slumberball Photoshoot

Devin's been on a roll this morning snapping photos of me in my Slumberball.  Someone needs to intervene as it is really cutting into my 18hrs of sleep that I require a day.

Whittling and a new camera lens

It's been a long while since I've had an update.  I seem to start off most of my blog entries this way.

I was really good at blogging for the first year in my forever home.  Truth is, I've settled in rather well here.
I get up to a few shenanigans here and there, just to keep Devin on his toes.

For instance, the A/C unit was removed from the window a few weeks ago.  Devin placed the unit in the hallway with the pieces of wood that are used to keep it just so in the window - on top of the unit.
Devin went out for groceries, and came home to a 1.5 blocks of wood "whittled".  I was just shy of a week pooping "toothpicks" and it took about 3 days for me to produce my undigested work of art.

Devin should have known better. When visiting the twins, i do try to indulge in a few twigs and branches.

New purchases -
Devin purchased a huge nesting bed for me from Dr Foster and Smith.  I haven't roached in it, but I did spend my entire night out in it.  For the past week or so I've been waking Devin up at 5am looking for breakfast.  This morning Devin woke up looking for me. I was sound asleep in my bed. Me likey!

Ohh, what do we have here?

I think it opens up here?
Oh, what is this??
Just a little....
What??

Narnia?
closer look - packaging is always more fun than the product

I could get used to this new bed
Err, maybe not.. I'm not so sure
fabulous - greyhound approved!
Rabbit n' me having sleepies

A new 50mm lens arrived yesterday.  That means Devin has been going picture crazy with me.
The above photos were taken with the 50mm.   I'm not quite sure if i share in Devin's excitement about the new piece of equipment.
