Hoarding

Since the cats have moved in, I have acquired a few bad habits.  Gideon likes to steal everything and run off to his cat carrier with it. He likes to renovate his carrier with random household items.

After watching Gideon - the cat burglar, I decided to give my hand at trying to hoard things.
Today's hoarding session:  Auntie Shelley was given a nice plant arrangement and a stuffed kitty to go with it.  Auntie brought the kitty into her room and placed it on the nightstand.  Today, while Auntie and Dad were out of the house I found the stuffed kitty and brought it to my bed in the living room.  Dad found it on my bed and told on me.  The arm was slightly ripped and I left a bit of bloody behind on it.

Dad's been making Larabars today.  While he was busy, I decided I'd try to play with the Wii.  I was all paws when i stole the Wii remote and brought it over to my Kong towel.  I need to work on my sneakiness.
If only Dad would put back up my crate, then I'd have a greyt place to hide things!

Dad keeps reminding me that I'd getting a house for my birthday.  Well a day before my birthday.
He's been on the lookout for nice soft rugs to put down throughout the house for me.  I'm forever dealing with my corns.   Dad is thinking about asking Dr. Paul to NON evasively remove a few corns for me while I'm having my "sleepy time" teeth cleaning in September.
So many things coming up in the upcoming months!

Here are a few photos since last I wrote.  As you'll see, I've really become a cuddle bug with Auntie Shelley.

Branching out

I've taken a real shine to Auntie Shelley.   So much that I will go lay in her room on the bed with her, leaving Dad to fend for himself in our room.

Did I mention that we are officially moving October 1st?  I'm going to be moving into my first house.
Dad tells me that it will be much more quiet. No more tree people stomping above our head.  We will no longer have this one woman who calls my name "Miloooooo" from inside her apartment as we walk by.  Dad says I need to be more choosy when it comes to picking friends.  She's the same one Dad tells not to push her face into mine when she comes over to say hi.

We will have a corner lot, which is just fine with us.  Dad says it's better to get out and walk around; rather than hanging out in a backyard all the time.  I will have my choice of front or side porches to lay on.  I think the move will be a good thing.  I'll also only have a few stairs from either the front or side porch to hop up and down when I go outside.   Change is good.
I almost forgot. Dad booked me an teeth cleaning appointment with Dr. Paul. Dad suspects that I may have a couple if not one tooth for sure that needs to come out.  I'll be going Sept 16th, 2015 for that. Please keep me in your thoughts on that day.

Here are a few photos of me from the past week'ish.

July vacation and surprise jolts

Dad's July vacation comes to an end today.  I've quite enjoyed him being home with me.  Mind you he did take off a few times during the day to do household errands and to go climb a mountain; so not all time was spent with me.  I did have my Auntie Shelley thought. She's the bestest!   I like to sleep in the bed with her when Dad isn't home.

The other day I was sound asleep near the foot of the bed, all of a sudden Gideon flew up onto the bed.  He landed on top of me. He didn't expect me to be there, nor did I expected to be jumped on. This startled me from a beautiful sleep I was having.  I ended up air snapping and barked to let Gideon know that I wasn't pleased with being woken up in that manner. As fast as Gideon flew up on to the bed, he jumped down and bolted from the bedroom.     *le sigh* Cats....

Oh, Dad's a member of a greyhound corn group on Facebook - He saw that someone has been having some luck with the epson salt soak (photos below). He's going to find some and give it a whirl with me.
I now have 2 corns on one of my feet along with 1 on my other foot.  *ugh*

Dad and Auntie Shelley went to look at a new place for us all to live in.  I was told that it's pretty big and I'd have lots of rooms to lounge and sleep in.  My kitties would have more windows to look out from too!

That's it for this week -
